Job Description:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms, conditions, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings, efficiency, and supplier performance.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and pricing discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to enhance procurement processes and capabilities.
- Assist with other procurement-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
